Secrets from Scratch is a small, local business in Wetumpka, Alabama, focused on creating organic, homemade bread. At the center of the brand is a desire to connect with customers, educating them on the importance of selecting quality ingredients and supporting local farmers and suppliers.

The Hand-drawn Logo helps reinforce the brand's home-made, natural feel.The hand-lettered logo reinforces the brand’s focus on home-made and natural goods. The logo was drawn by hand, based on Mrs. Eaves Bold Italic, and refined in Illustrator.

Since Secrets from Scratch cannot be found in stores, it was important to to have a brochure to leave with prospective customers. The tri-fold brochure utilizes color, photography and simple typography to introduce the brand’s products, goals, and contact information.
Product Photography
Photographs were taken outside in natural light. The compositions were arranged to showcase the texture of the bread and the quality of the brand’s all-natural ingredients.

Package Design
Ingredients are listed on the front of the package to reinforce the brand’s promise of all-natural, high quality ingredients. The wheat shaft patterns mirror the logo, while representing simplicity and wholesomeness.
